One killed, four injured in Columbia County crash
Four people were injured and a minor was killed in a single vehicle accident Friday evening in Columbia county, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
According to the report 18-year-old Cardiare Adair of Stephens was driving a 2018 Mitsubishi westbound on Columbia County Road 61 in Magnolia at approximately 8:14 p.m. when the vehicle exited the roadway to the north, leading to a collision with a ditch embankment. The vehicle then overturned before coming to a rest in the westbound lane of travel, facing south.
23-year-old Christopher Straham of Stephens, 23-year-old Devin Davis of Stephens, a 15-year-old minor, along with Adair, were all injured in the crash.
A 17-year-old minor was pronounced deceased at the hospital by Dr. Karem Olufadejimi at 8:47 p.m.
Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the accident, according to the report.
